Gift of Gravel: Empowering Marginalized Communities in the Outdoors
Gift of Gravel, a non-profit organization founded by Nehemiah Brown in 2023, is dedicated to diversifying outdoor activities by providing access to cycling experiences to marginalized communities. In its inaugural year, Gift of Gravel awarded over 50 scholarships to BIPOC cyclists.
Gift of Gravel believes experiencing the outdoors is essential for a healthy, fulfilling life. By removing barriers and supporting riders from marginalized communities with scholarships, Gift of Gravel promotes a more inclusive outdoor community.
